Exploring the disconnect between the industry and research experts developing future systems and the needs of military end-users...

Radar technology continues to evolve rapidly. New Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) Radar technology has triggered a race to equip front line platforms with the best systems in existence. Battlefield surveillance radar is coming into fruition as a key counter-insurgency tool. All while the development of Ground Moving Target Indicator (GMTI) technology, synthetic aperture radar, noise radar and cognitive radar systems advances rapidly.

Through a combination of technical examination sessions and key case studies, Military Radar 2010 will identify how military radar is currently being used, where the growth areas are for new technology, and what programs are breaking new ground.
